Situated in the Gidea Park conservation area, Parkside is one of Havering’s leading care homes for the elderly. We’ve been providing high quality yet affordable care since 1971. We offer bespoke short-term respite and long-term care packages that are run with an underlying Christian ethos, and each resident is given appropriate support to encourage independence. Parkside is regulated and inspected by the Care Quality Commission.

Parkside was opened in 1971 as part of the ministry of Romford Baptist Church.  The work at Parkside is governed by the trustees of Romford Baptist Church Housing Association Ltd, which is a charitable, ie non-profit making, organisation, and which is linked to the Church.
