New dementia-friendly gardens have been designed and installed for the residents’ enjoyment at both homes. The garden features pull out flower baskets so that residents can partake in gardening activities, and we have soft surface flooring throughout the gardens. The new gardens are a great addition and offer an opportunity to sit in a peaceful quiet space and take in the plants and water features: for the more energetic residents there is also an opportunity to potter in the raised bed garden.
