Abbcross and Upminster Nursing Homes offer a warm and friendly environment for older people. Every resident is allocated a keyworker, and our team take responsibility for the day-to-day care of each resident. We encourage independence and individualised person-centred care.

We work closely with the people who matter to each resident – friends or family – and health and social care professionals (as applicable) to ensure that the care we give is always to a high standard, and in the resident’s best interest.

Abbcross and Upminster Nursing Homes also ensure that all residents have regular dental, sight and foot care check-ups with professionals who visit the home. Referrals are made to specialists (when necessary) to ensure residents receive timely and appropriate healthcare treatment.

Our care team have a good and respectful relationship with our residents.  We implement daily handover meetings between shifts to discuss resident's care needs and any concerns.
